eightsixthree Ltd. is an award winning international Architectural and Interior Design studio based in Hong Kong. Recognised as a design company, creating sumptuous homes, luxury retail stores and shopping mall projects. We are currently seeking smart, motivated and independent thinkers who have the ability to coordinate and liaise clearly and concisely within our team and with our clients for the following position.
Our design approach is simple.
We have no house style. We create designs that are tailored to suit your needs and aspirations, and are sensitive to each project situation. We believe a clearly defined problem declares its own solution and begin this process by questioning, defining and researching the functional and technical issues contained within the client brief. Only after we are fully conversant with your needs do we commence the design.
We appreciate and encourage our clients to be demanding, as you play a fundamental role in enriching our designs, goals, thoughts and working process. With each project, the client collaborates with us by responding to our design proposals over a series of stages. The final design solution is reached with both parties – client and designer – understanding and endorsing all decisions.
We are a flexible team, a strategy that allows appropriate talents to be assigned effectively to each project, be it architectural or interior design services, sophisticated CAD modeling, rendering, or project management.
This role encompasses working with the client project team in defining architectural / interior design solutions, the ability to develop concept designs through to design development and on into construction packages. The ideal candidate is expected to have at least 3 years related working experience for architectural / interior projects.
An ability in handling full sets of tender / construction drawings, whilst able to maintain a project schedule, coordinate and monitor site progress and lead coordination meetings with the Consultants and Clients are key. Excellent computer, 3D CAD, sketch up, hand sketching skills, a good knowledge and interest in construction details and good time management skills are necessary whilst a demonstrable experience of working on high quality schemes is a pre-requisite both in implementation and design.
Written and spoken English is a must whilst an ability to clearly articulate in both written and spoken Putonghua is an advantage.
Professional qualifications / experience preferred
1) Min 3 years related working experience on luxury retail project.
2) Good project management skills.
3) Excellent computer, 3D CAD, 3D Modelling (Revit), sketch up and hand sketching skills / a good knowledge and interest in construction details.
4) Ability to follow a project from concept through to completion.
